  • Clayton is a seasoned aviation consultant, entrepreneur, and multi-engine commercial pilot with more than 20 years in the left seat. As Founder and President of Scissortail, he combines deep industry knowledge with a proven track record in aircraft sales, compliance, and strategy.

    Previously, Clayton led sales and marketing at Reata Jet, where he closed multimillion-dollar transactions and spearheaded a major rebrand. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the South Texas Business Aviation Association, where he launched a Leadership Development Program to mentor the next generation of aviation leaders.

    Before turning his focus to aviation, Clayton built a successful career in the music industry as a renowned keyboardist and music producer, performing on global stages and national television alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment. As a GRAMMY voting member, he earned recognition not only as a musician but as part of the broader creative community. He later parlayed that experience into entrepreneurship, co-founding Craftsmen Events, where he produced large-scale concerts and charitable activations.

    By launching Scissortail, Clayton brings this unique blend of aviation expertise, strategic insight, and creative leadership to advise clients on complex decisions with clarity and confidence.

  • Adam is an accomplished aviation professional with decades of experience across Part 121, 135, and 91 jet operations. Co-Founder and Partner at Jet360, based in McKinney, Texas, he has established and managed multiple flight departments over the past decade, bringing a strategic and disciplined approach to aircraft management and operations.

    In addition to his leadership in operations, Adam holds both airplane and rotorcraft certifications and has spent more than 15 years advising clients in aircraft and rotorcraft brokerage. His expertise spans acquisitions, management, and long-term ownership strategy, offering clients comprehensive guidance backed by deep industry knowledge.

    Beyond his executive work, Adam is also highly regarded in the airshow industry, where he has shared his aerobatic skill and passion for aviation with audiences nationwide.   • Darren is an accomplished Canadian aviation executive and consultant with more than 20 years of experience spanning flight operations, business development, and executive leadership. Beginning his career as a professional pilot, Darren combined technical expertise with business acumen to transition into senior commercial roles, where he drove measurable growth, market expansion, and operational innovation across North America and beyond.

    As President of Elevated Aviation in Toronto, Darren secured full funding and delivered rapid fleet and revenue growth while forging key strategic partnerships. He later served as National Sales Director at Execaire in Montreal, where his leadership nearly doubled the managed fleet and established new revenue streams. Since 2017, he has led CAVU Consulting, advising clients in aviation, finance, energy, and technology on strategy, efficiency, and U.S. market entry initiatives.

    Known at Scissortail as our resident Canadian expert, Darren brings both deep local insight and international perspective to every project.   • Adham combines deep Texas Panhandle aviation roots with a professional career spanning competitive athletics, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership. As a partner at Reata Jet and its de facto Chief of Operations, he has been instrumental in growing the company’s charter and brokerage business, with a particular focus on charter sales, maintenance oversight, and operational excellence.

    An accomplished pilot and aircraft owner, Adham has operated and managed high-performance piston, turboprop, and jet aircraft. He holds type ratings in the SA227 and Hawker 800 and currently serves as a Part 135 captain on the Hawker for Air Transit Solutions. His dual perspective as both owner and operator allows him to guide clients through acquisitions, management, and ownership strategy with clarity and authority.

    Before devoting himself to aviation, Adham competed on the ATP Tour after captaining the tennis team at Southern Methodist University. That same competitive drive and discipline continue to shape his leadership and advisory work today.
